Games and Sports: Our Learning Centers Compete
Every term, Asifiwe's Learning Centers face off in Games and Sports — a competition that puts our football cage, basketball court, and swimming pool to full use.
Learning Center vs. Learning Center
Games and Sports pits our Learning Centers against one another across a range of sports, using the same facilities — our football cage, basketball court, and swimming pool — that our Sports Club trains on the rest of the term.
It's competitive, but it's built around the same values the rest of an Asifiwe education is: fair play, respect for the other side, and encouraging teammates whether they're winning or losing on the day.
More Than a Score
Games and Sports is also one of the few events where every Learning Center is cheering for its own team at the same time, in the same place — it's as much a community event as a competition.
Students who don't compete still take part, whether that's cheering, helping run an event, or supporting their Learning Center in other ways.
This Term's Competition
Exact dates for this term's Games and Sports will be confirmed and shared through each Learning Center. We look forward to seeing every campus turn out to support their team.
