Celebrating Our Students' Wins at EASC 2026

A Convention Across Three Categories

The East African Students Convention (EASC) brought together students from across the region for a week of competition spanning academics, athletics, and the creative arts. Asifiwe students entered events in all three, from academic categories to track events like the 100m sprint and relays, to speeches and dance.

EASC 2026 ran from 17 to 22 August, hosted at Ntare Louisenlund International School in Nyamata, Rwanda. It's the kind of event that asks students to represent their school on a stage well beyond their own classroom — and Asifiwe's students rose to it.

Trophies and Medals

Our students returned with multiple trophies and medals across the categories they entered. Every result reflects the same individualised, mastery-based approach they bring to their PACEs each day — the discipline to prepare well and the confidence to compete on a regional stage.

Competing at EASC is also a chance to measure ourselves against schools with very different curricula, and to see how an ACE education holds up outside the classroom it was built in.

A Path Forward

EASC's top performers can be nominated to represent Team Uganda at the International Student Convention — a reminder that the ceiling for an Asifiwe student's achievement doesn't stop at our own gates.

We're proud of every student who competed this year, and grateful to the teachers and families who helped them prepare. We'll be back at EASC again next year.
