Curriculum

How the ACE Curriculum Works

Programs

Individualised PACEs

Self-paced, mastery-based workbooks let each student move on only once a subject is truly learned, not on a fixed age or grade schedule.

Character Formation

Honesty, kindness, and other Christian character values are woven directly into PACE content, not taught as a separate subject.

ICCE Certification

High-school students work toward the International Certificate of Christian Education, an academic and achievement-track qualification.

ICDL Digital Literacy

Our ICDL Accredited Training Centre status brings students a globally recognised ICT certification alongside their PACEs.

Subjects

Mathematics

PACEs build math skills step by step, with close teacher mentoring where extra support is needed.

Science

Our science labs give hands-on grounding to what students learn through their Science PACEs.

Language Arts

Reading, writing, and communication skills are built through every grade level's Language Arts PACEs.

Social Studies

Social Studies PACEs build students' understanding of history, geography, and citizenship.

Bible & Character

Character values and biblical foundations run through every PACE, in every subject, at every grade level.

Physical Education

Football, basketball, and swimming give students room to build fitness and teamwork outside the classroom.

Computer Science

Our ICDL Accredited Training Centre programme prepares students in coding, hardware, and digital literacy.

Music & Art

Dedicated music and art rooms support students exploring instruments, vocal training, painting, and more.

Stages

How ACE Grades Compare to Uganda's Curriculum

01

ACE Grades 1–6

Primary Years

Students build foundational reading, writing, and math skills through individualised PACEs. ACE Grade 6 is equivalent to Uganda's Primary 7.

02

ACE Grades 7–10

O-Level Years

Students tackle more advanced PACEs across every subject. ACE Grade 9 is equivalent to Senior 4, and ACE Grade 10 to Senior 5.

03

ACE Grade 11–12

A-Level Years

Students work toward ICCE certification and prepare for life after Asifiwe. ACE Grade 12 is equivalent to Senior 6, with many graduates going on to national and international universities.

Learning at Your Own Pace

What Individualised Learning Looks Like

Self-Paced Mastery

Because PACEs are mastery-based rather than age-based, a student ready to move faster in one subject can — without waiting on the rest of the class.

ICCE Certification Track

High-school students pursue the International Certificate of Christian Education alongside their regular PACE work.
